The roots of my professional slogan, ethics, and policies can be traced back to my childhood. I grew up in a large family in a small town in Indiana. Early in my life my parents and community instilled the importance of honesty, responsibility, respect, hard work, and the Golden Rule."The Service You Deserve".
I attended Purdue University and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, and also studied Pharmacy for four and a half years.
In 1982 I decided I needed a change, and as a frustrated cross country skier, I headed West with the plan of spending one Winter in snow country...somewhere. After two months of exploring, I landed in Bend, Oregon. I stayed ten years, before moving back to Indiana. After a year, I discovered that I have a special love for Bend, especially the country around it, and moved back permanently. I never forget just how lucky I am to live here.
In 1990 I began my real estate career at a Century 21 office here in Bend. I also practiced real estate and property management for a time in Indiana. I am constantly working to increase my knowledge, and have taken hundreds of hours of continuing education in real estate, and earned both a GRI and CSP designation.
In addition to my experience in real estate, I have 20+ years experience in business and personnel management, marketing, sales, and construction. I also served as a director at two crisis centers, where I also did counseling and training in addition to my management responsibilities. This broad background has served me well in helping my clients through the complicated and emotional process of selling and buying real estate.
There is a difference in Realtors. My goal as a Realtor is to provide "The Service You Deserve". This means a commitment to the honesty, trust, dedication, and the respect that you deserve. I will never pressure you, and we will work together to find the ways of achieving your goals. I truly want what is best for my clients and will always put your interests first.
My goal is to provide the most professional, personal and highest quality service possible. It is not how many I serve, but how I serve those who have put their trust in me to counsel, guide and represent them. I strongly believe in handling all aspects of my business and each transaction personally. I believe that you deserve my best effort and my personal attention, and not an assistant.
My real estate career is not as much about selling, but more about providing information and a service you can trust. It is about providing...
